I’m Tina Larrigan, LCSW . I love working with young adults to find their passion in life, remove blocks that are keeping them from being their most authentic self and learn to live a life they have imagined
I’ve been a therapist for over 16 years and absolutely love what I do. My passion for helping others has lead to a 23 year career experiences in residential foster home, a school social worker, school crisis counselor and a mental health counseling.
My practice focuses on the treatment of teenagers 18+ years old and older to help overcome feelings of depression, anxiety, and trauma.
I utilize a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Client Centered Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy. These techniques assist in stress management, increasing self-worth, assertiveness training, mood management, anxiety reduction, empowerment and work/life balance.
I have added Coco, my four legged therapy assistant. Coco is an English Mastiff puppy. Coco is learning the ropes of the office and will continue training to become a therapy dog. Animal assisted therapy can help ease the anxiety of attending your first session and provide comfort and security as we build a therapeutic relationship.
