Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is a problem-solving approach that addresses a variety of conditions, including eating disorders, substance abuse, phobias, and other symptom-based diagnoses. At River Birch Counseling, we use CBT to teach children, families, and adults how to accurately view and analyze their current situation. In addition to functional behavior assessments, we provide the following formal evaluation services: comprehensive psychological, developmental, psychodiagnostic, and psychoeducational. While CBT often provides a short-term treatment option, our ultimate goal is to empower our patients with the skills necessary to achieve and maintain the change they’re looking for.
