Lauren Holliday, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has experience and training working with children and their families. I provide Parent-Child Interactive Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy for Children and Teenagers, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have training in administering and scoring projective assessments (projective drawings mostly with ages 3-12 years), as well as conducting Theraplay, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy sessions.

From 2016 to 2019, I worked in community mental health in Knoxville, TN. I spent my time in and out of the office working directly in the homes, schools, and community settings with at-risk families to help their children and teenagers manage and understand their dysfunctional behaviors. I completed my Masters of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology at Brenau University. I completed my internship at the residential treatment facility Hillside Hospital and Brenau University’s community mental health clinic.

In my free-time I enjoy going shopping, playing games, crafting, spending time with my fiance, and playing with our cat, Butters.
